The Workshop
It will be a high-energy, inclusive and spontaneous knit and crochet event. Inspirational talks meet live, interactive crafting, encouraging attendees to unleash their primal creativity, follow their instincts with scrap yarn and let go of perfectionism.
- The format: a personal talk, vulnerability and an active community workshop.
- The vibe: energetic, inclusive and fun - a warm woolly hug that also nudges you out of your comfort zone.
- Skill level: absolutely everyone, from beginners to advanced crafters.
- What to bring: scrap or leftover yarn and at least three sets of knitting needles or crochet hooks in varying sizes.

We are thrilled to welcome the immensely talented Belén Fernández of Tejer En Inglés to Twist and Stroud 2027.
The Oxford-based knitwear designer, teacher and respected voice in the Spanish-speaking knitting community is creating an exclusive festival pattern that captures the creativity, colour and spirit of the event.
Every ticket holder will receive complimentary access, giving attendees the opportunity to cast on together, share progress and create a lasting connection to the festival. The pattern will also be available on Ravelry.
